Safety First. It's easy to tout the merits of one's safety program, but it's another thing entirely to truly develop a safety culture. FlatironDragados has achieved this and has been recognized accordingly. In 2022, FlatironDragados took home first place in the elite AGC National Construction Safety Excellence Award (shown to the right) competition in the Highway and Transportation Division for contractors with >80,000 work hours.

Developed in-house, the program meets complies with all jurisdictions, in many cases exceeding local requirements. Through Aecon’s Critical Risk Management system, we are focused on our Critical Risk activities (The Fatal 8) across our sites and driving safe standards and behaviors surrounding these activities to effectively manage and minimize hazards.
