A30 Beauharnois Bridge | $485M | P3

Montréal, Quebec

The 26-mile western extension of A-30 was delivered as a Public-Private Partnership (P3). Montreal’s Autoroute 30 (A-30) project was one of the most important transport infrastructure projects undertaken in Quebec in the past 50 years. The completion of the new A-30 toll road greatly alleviates congestion in the Greater Montreal Area, with a consequent reduction in air pollution. The highway links the A-20 and A-540 routes from Toronto and Ottawa, where they converge at Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec. The new A-30 routes traffic along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, tying into the existing A-30 at Chateauguay leading to Quebec City.
